Catulpa Community Support Services is Looking for Direct Support Worker Full Time

Catulpa Community Support Services, is assisting a Barrie area family in finding a Worker (for 1-1 support) to support their son in home and in community. Their son is in his 20’s, and lives with autism. The family is seeking a full-time worker who has a minimum two years of experience working with people with autism. The worker must be able to swim as this is one of the activities their son enjoys. Only candidates that have experience in the area of autism, will be considered.

The young man enjoys swimming, going out into the community, and taking long walks. He is looking for a skilled/experienced worker to help him with community participation in the activities he enjoys, as well as support within the home. Additional support will include personal care, safety and communication.. Strong experience supporting people with Autism is required. Vehicle required.

Availability: Full–time hours are available (35 hrs /week, Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, ). Some flexibility required. Monthly schedules developed. Training provided.

Rate of pay: $35 per hour.
