Cats Protection Hiring for Resourcing Officer Job at Remote Full Time

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Resourcing Officer to join our Reward and Talent Acquisition team. You will join us on a 12 month fixed term contract, working 35 hours per week and in return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £29,598.04 per annum plus excellent benefits.

Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity with a nationwide network of adoption and homing centres, volunteer-run branches and charity shops. During 2021 we helped 137,000 cats and kittens. That’s the equivalent of around 375 cats a day!

The Talent Acquisition team are responsible for delivering a consistent brand, candidate experience and resourcing journey. The team’s role is to support and coach our people managers across the organisation to deliver a best-in-class recruitment service. As a member of the People and Engagement Directorate, the team performs to the highest professional standard; working with colleagues and within regulatory, safeguarding and compliance frameworks to deliver our People plan, goals and objectives.

Responsibilities of our Resourcing Officer:

As one of our two Resourcing Officers, you will be responsible for Cat Protection’s offer management process and pre-employment & background checks to support the talent acquisition process and our commitment to keeping our people safe from harm. This role works alongside talent acquisition partners to provide a high quality, responsive, end to end recruitment service through understanding our charity workforce planning goals.

What we’re looking for in our Resourcing Officer:

• substantial experience managing administration processes
• experience of coaching outputs/changes to hiring managers and all colleagues
• experience of working within an internal recruitment team and with talent delivery platforms and applicant tracking systems is desirable
• strong administrative skills including high attention to detail
• excellent planning and organisational skills with proven ability to multi-task and work on own initiative, accurately and under pressure to meet deadlines
• strong communication style and ability to collaborate successfully with diverse hiring managers and candidates
• a sense of fun and passion for all things recruitment!
