CATS Global Schools are currently looking to appoint a dynamic and passionate recruiter to join the team in the role of Talent Partner. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and varied team of HR professionals.

We are at the beginning of developing what the internal Talent Function will look like at CATS Global School and this role will be instrumental in helping to shape the future of the department, and how we interact with the wider business.

Role overview
The Talent Partner will work alongside the Group Talent Manager to identify current and future hiring needs across central services, this will include recruiting for IT, Finance, Sales and Operations. This role will manage the full Talent life cycle from Job Spec to On Boarding. This is a new role for the group and the post holder will be expected to be experienced in sourcing, interviewing and evaluating candidates and will be responsible for developing a wide and comprehensive pipeline.

This role will also be expected to lead on group wide projects and initiatives to further develop the Talent Team and the service provided.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to write job ads for current openings
• Promote our current vacancies on careers pages, local and international job boards and social networks (e.g LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok, )
• Source candidates through multiple channels (e.g. professional networks and portfolio sites, building pools of talent through our referral scheme)
• Be a subject specialist for non-academic roles
• Own the hiring process – attend interviews, screen candidates, build out creative hiring channels
• Report to hiring managers and People Business Partners on the status of open positions
• Evaluate candidates based on their interview and assignment performance
• Partner with hiring managers and People and Engagement (P&E) on recommended bespoke hiring sources – training schemes, government incentives and industry leading fairs.
• Review and update job descriptions (e.g. add tasks or modify requirements)
• Be the first point of contact to answer candidates’ queries regarding the application process
• Provide interview feedback, when necessary and appropriate
• Engage with the market – job fairs, host job events, become a thought leader in talent attraction and retention.
• Partner with the P&E team to onboard new talent
• Develop a comprehensive pipeline for projects and future hiring needs.
• Keep abreast of new hiring practices and trends in the industry
• Deliver recruitment training across the group for our hiring managers
• First point of contact for ATS queries

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Person Specification

• Minimum 2 years recruitment experience (gained from either agency or an inhouse recruitment role)
• Solid understanding of 360 recruitment life cycle
• Experience using various interview formats (e.g. phone, structured, group)
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, we use Jobtrain.
• Good knowledge of employment legislation in the UK (US desirable).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of the education sector is a plus but not a requirement.
• Experience recruiting within the financial sector would be beneficial
