All Saints’ College is a coeducational year 7-12 Catholic School which is part of the Maitland Newcastle Diocese system of schools. With approximately 1400 students and 200 staff learning and working across 2 campuses, we are the largest school in our diocese and one of the largest Catholic Schools in the state. St Peter’s Campus caters for our year 7-10 students, and St Mary’s Campus caters for our senior students in years 11 and 12. Following the decision by the Diocese in 2021 the College will be transitioning to one campus in the next few years.
All Saints’ College prides itself on a strong presence in the Maitland community with a well-established Catholic tradition which includes a deep association with the local Parish community. As a proud Catholic College, we encourage our students on their formation journey nurtured within a caring and supportive Christian environment.
All Saints’ College commits to focusing on each individual child’s ability, offering a unique array of educational, creative, sporting and formation opportunities for the student. Our goal for each student is to grow into lifelong learners, who are critical thinkers that value and build authentic relationships. We are a community committed to a safe and supportive environment nurturing the formation of the whole person celebrating continual growth and success.
Teachers in a Catholic school have a unique role to play and are assigned with the task of ensuring each child has the opportunity to grow both academically and spiritually and to live purposeful lives. The teacher will promote the school as a place of learning and excellence in accordance with contemporary evidence-based learning and wellbeing principles (including digital learning) and will ensure the ongoing development and implementation of pedagogical practices that impact on student learning outcomes. The teacher will acknowledge and agree to the requirement to work within the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, preventing those in our care from suffering abuse or neglect, and is committed to being compliant with the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards. All employees are required to undergo a National Police Check, retain a valid NSW Working with Children Check and ensure compliance with our safeguarding policies, the Diocesan Safeguarding Commitment Statement, and the Codes of Conduct
Ministry Coordinators (MCs) are members of the school executive team and are significant religious leaders for the school community. MC’s support the Principal in promoting and affirming the Catholic culture, identity and mission of the school. They work in partnership with the Principal and Parish Priest to provide religious leadership for the school and wider community, and representing the school in the community.
