POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will predominantly work in administering Accounts Payable functions with the possibility of some Accounts Receivable.

If you have proven experience in administering high volume Accounts Payable with some Accounts Receivable experience, a high attention to detail and a great work ethic we would love to hear from you.

This role is being offered on a permanent full-time basis. The position is based in our Newcastle West Head Office and we have a flexible work culture with the availability to work from home at times.

EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA

• Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills with the capacity to work effectively in a team
• Proven experience in the administration of accounts receivable and accounts payable at a high level
• Sound knowledge of purchasing and receivables processes and related internal controls
• Ability to work with discretion and maintain confidentiality
• A good understanding of accounting and GST procedures
• High level computer literacy including experience with PCs (particularly MS Word and Excel) and computerised purchasing and financial information management systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills, including effective telephone manner
• Experience with TechnologyOne (Desirable)
• Experience with RapidAP or other AP automation systems (Desirable)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
