About the role*

The role of the Child Care Educator, Qualified, in the Early Learning Centre (ELC) and Early Learning and Care Centre (ELCC) is to assist the Coordinator/Teacher and the team in providing high quality care and education for children.

This is a Permanent Part-time position, 16 hours per week, Thursday and Fridays.

Assist the Coordinator/Teacher and the team to plan, document, implement and evaluate the program

• Develop a positive and supportive relationship with children

• Help maintain a safe and hygienic environment

• Establish and maintain good relationships with families

Requirements*

Diploma Qualifications and relevant experience in Early Childhood Education

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis
• Completion of Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk (CHCPRT001 or previous equivalent)
• Knowledge of the Education and Care National regulations and National Quality Framework
• Current and valid Working with Children Check clearance
