Salary : £36,612 – £45,754 depending on experience

Job Purpose:
An exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Associate to join the global Resource Industries Talent Acquisition Team has arisen. You will be responsible for working with Hiring Managers to set the recruiting strategy and managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle in order to attract the best candidates to Caterpillar. The scope of this role covers all core recruitment across the UK for our Resource Industries division, and you will be based at our Peterlee facility.
Job duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Primary recruiting contact for hiring managers.
Continually engages with hiring managers, Human Resources, and facility leadership team to understand the recruiting business needs and required skills.
Manage the candidate pipeline by implementing effective sourcing strategies.
Responsible for quality of the prospective candidates that are presented to the hiring managers for open requisitions.
Schedule, facilitate and support on interview panels and assessment centres where required.
Produce and issue Employment Contracts at the point of offer stage.
Maintain and ensure compliance with local recruitment policies & processes.
Track candidate process and minimize time to hire (CV to offer) through driving the candidate pipeline.
Understand and use Workday (the candidate database) and ensure up to date data management of recruitment applications by Hiring Managers at all times.
Ensure the positive candidate experience is at the forefront of all recruitment activity.
Focus on achieving business diversity goals .
Provide recruiting status updates to Regional and Global Recruiting Leadership including performance vs targets, sourcing/recruiting challenges/issues etc.
Collaborate with other regions to share knowledge and lessons learned.
Provide back-up recruiting services for other regions as needed.

Background and Experience:
Education/Experience:
The position typically requires a college or university degree and/or equivalent experience.
A professional HR qualification e.g., CIPD
In addition, 2-4 years of recruitment/human resources job-related experience.
Experience of managing a high volume of vacancies.
Skills:
Develop and maintain effective relations with the hiring managers in span of support.
Capability to manage multiple internal customers with ease.
Displays strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with various levels of the organization, including strong written and verbal communication skills.
Should have client service orientation to provide the highest level of client service.
Planning and organising.
Influencing and negotiation.
Ability to analyse and interpret data including recruiting metrics.
