Full Job Description

The Accountant/Bookkeeper needs to understand all financial transactions and implications throughout the company. Must be able to organize and understand financials of multiple industries, funds and international investments. This position works directly with but not limited to: CEO, COO, CFO. The Accountant will be responsible for income accounting, financial reporting, tax preparation, auditing and will be able to answer any financial questions or know where to get the information to answer any financial questions.

Day to day, you’ll…

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS audit support

What you’ll bring to the team…

• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing
• Must complete 18-hour continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements

It would be even better if you also had…

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Tax planning and audit support experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
