We are based in Hawthorn and have 2 employees – one in Melbourne, one in the Philippines. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

Casual / Part Time role (10 hours a week, i.e. 26.3% full-time pro-rata) starting 1 October with flexible working hours. An opportunity for a confident senior copywriter looking for stability but flexibility (90% work from home, no fixed hours) and room to add to the workload and scope in the future. Best suited for a part-time parent with a young child slowly easing back into the workforce, but all applicants welcome. 

Primary responsibilities:

• Writing copy for web pages
• Developing mock-ups / wireframes alongside copy
• Writing SEO ready articles, stories and case studies for blogs
• Writing info packs, e-books, brochures, video scripts, lead magnets, keynotes, pitch decks, etc.
• Social media writing – profiles, posts, etc.
• Basic SEO research

ABOUT YOU

We’re primarily looking for a good human being that: 

• Shares our sense of purpose (inspiring connections) & values
• Has integrity, strong sense of responsibility, good work ethic, learning and growth mindset
• Has 3 – 6 years copywriting experience with proven marketing & branding outcomes
• Is a strong thinker – good judgement, commercial sensibilities and research skills for technical areas (finance, engineering, etc.)
• Has tone and style versatility – able to comfortably adopt writing styles consistent with the diverse brand identities of clients 
• Is branding and marketing trend aware
• Has the ability to use ChatGPT and other AI tools to support / enhance / 10x the creative process
• Is personable and has strong interviewing skills 

Nice to haves:

• Have read “Building a Story Brand” by Donald Miller and used this approach successfully
• Some basic Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva and design skills are appreciated
• Familiarity with Hubspot, Google Workspace, Wordpress, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO Tools, Canva, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, etc.
• Basic video / podcast editing skills and willingness to apply them
