Catallia Mexican Foods is looking to add a Staff Accountant to our team!

This position is responsible for supporting activities related to accounts receivables and other accounting duties as assigned within the company.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions

• Setup and maintain customer accounts, to include credit applications, Catalog Prices and Price Breakdowns, and other customer programs as required
• Perform daily customer invoicing for customer shipments
• Perform the cash application process
• Work with Customer Service to resolve shipping issues and issue credits as needed
• Maintain records for customer marketing programs, issuing payments or credits according to program requirements
• Investigate and resolve invoicing issues to ensure customer payments are made on time
• Provide reporting related to sales and commissions
• Respond to customer inquiries and perform customer collection efforts as directed
• Perform month end close routines, and reconcile accounts receivables balance to the general ledger
• Analyze and prepare documentation, and related journal entries

Education & Experience

• 2-year degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 3+ years Accounts Receivable experience
• ERP systems experience (Plex preferred)
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles
• Computer skills including spreadsheet applications

Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
