Dhelkaya Health delivers a diverse range of inpatient, outpatient, aged care, community health and outreach services to Mount Alexander Shire. It also delivers assessment, rehabilitation and allied health services to neighbouring shires. This Role

The Director of Finance leads and manages Dhelkaya Health’s Finance directorate to ensure the Finance Function at Dhelkaya Health supports strategic and operational objectives and is compliant with all accounting, quality and prudential standards and requirements.

Essential:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Accounting/Finance
• Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. accounting organisation CPA, CA, IPA etc.)
• Demonstrated knowledge and competency in using excel and accounting software applications

Selection Criteria

• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, standards and professional guidelines
• Knowledge of the health care sector
• Experience working in relevant roles within an accounting/finance department
• Proven organisational and time management skills with the ability to work to tight timeframes and prioritise competing work demands
• Demonstrated capability in leading and managing an operational team and a practical understanding if contemporary people management practices.
• Prior experience in leading business process improvement and project management.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
