The Director of Finance leads and manages Dhelkaya Health’s Finance directorate to ensure the Finance Function at Dhelkaya Health supports strategic and operational objectives and is compliant with all accounting, quality and prudential standards and requirements

Director of Finance (Hours Permanent Full-Time position – 76 hours per fortnight)

Dhelkaya Health delivers a diverse range of inpatient, outpatient, aged care, community health and outreach services to Mount Alexander Shire. It also delivers assessment, rehabilitation and allied health services to neighbouring shires. Dhelkaya Health is committed to the quality, accessibility and sustainability of acute, aged and community-based healthcare, and family and housing services.

Dhelkaya Health has campuses in Castlemaine and Maldon.

Essential:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Accounting/Finance
• Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. CPA, CA, IPA etc.)

Selection Criteria

• Demonstrated knowledge of health care sector and applicaple accounting principles, standards and professional guidelines
• Competency in using excel and accounting software applications
• Experience in simliar position
• Proven organisational and time management skills with the ability to work to tight timeframes and prioritise competing work demands
• Demonstrated capability in leading and managing an operational team and a practical understanding if contemporary people management practices.
• Prior experience in leading business process improvement and project management.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
