A brilliant opportunity to join a growing business and drive change, as a Software Developer, based at their site in Lostock, Bolton. Using digital technologies to drive a manufacturing business, you will be a key member of the team, responsible for business and process improvement. You will earn up to £65,000, depending on experience, alongside other benefits. Working Monday to Friday, 8:15-5 Monday to Thursday, with a 3pm finish on a Friday!

As Software Developer, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing bespoke and robust software solutions, to support the wider team and ensure efficient working across the group
• Provide expertise in best practice and methods for software developments
• Develop software to support Engineering innovation projects, to automate the design of structural elements, and identifying ways to integrate this into Tekla and Trimble
• Interacting with different teams across the business, including Tekla experts, structural engineers and business units

To be successful in this Software Developer role, you will have experience using Tekla software, Excel, computer programming using API. Ideally, you will also have a degree in a relevant subject such as Maths, Science, IT or Engineering, but this is not essential if you have experience in a similar role. You will also be an excellent communicator, experienced liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to be the interface between technical and non technical colleagues.
