Cassia Hiring for Caregiver (CNA or HHA) at Montevideo, MN Full Time

Brookside Senior Living is hiring Part-Time Caregivers (HHAs or CNAs) to join our team. We will train for this position! We are proud of our staff to patient ratio that allows us to provide that kind of quality of care for our residents.

There are Part-Time, benefit eligible positions available working varied schedules including every other weekend and holiday. Shift: Day, Evening or Night

Hours: 6:00 am to 11:00 am (M-F); 7:00 am to 9:00 am ; or 7:30 am to 4:00 pm; or 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm; or 10:00 pm to 6:30 am

What does a Caregiver do?

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. changes or concerns to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

What does a Caregiver require?

• Current Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate or Home Health Aide (HHA) experience required.
• Must be punctual, with a good attendance record.
