The Role

Cash Factory USA is seeking a Contract CTO / Senior Developer that can build new platforms for our products and services. Our business is growing rapidly, and we are moving from a subprime to near-prime lending business. Therefore, our products and services are changing. We have a proprietary product platform that processes new customer applications and builds products in real-time. We also use Salesforce for customer communications. We capture and analyze a large amount of data in our production environment to make underwriting and other decisions on applicants.

This is where you come in. We need a leader that has all the current technical and coding skills to build and manage our platforms. You have worked on and built platforms and customer-facing websites with React. You have a background in web development and PHP as well. You also will work with our analysts to capture data and add to this growing database solution. You have done it before and are ready to step out and be the leader of this initiative.

We are looking for someone in Las Vegas but will entertain West Coast applicants on a remote / contract basis.

We need someone that is a builder. While you have architecture skills you will be primarily responsible for building the solution for the team. You must be a self-starter. We are all here to support you, but you must take the lead on the initiative.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering. You must be able to code and have strong references in this area.
• Strong understanding of multi-tier architectures, design patterns, and good engineering practices. Specific experience with several of the following technologies: React Native, PHP (Laravel), MySQL, Docker, git, Figma, AWS, CSS and Wordpress.

• Effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to give/receive constructive feedback. The ability to discuss, document and explain system architecture and component design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business, or equivalent certifications

Job Type: Contract basis — no less than 20 hours a week.

Pay: Contract basis, minimum of 20 hours a week to 40 hours a week. Pay to $100/ hour depending on your skill set and time commitment.
