We’re seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead our Stores engineering team. As a Software Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a team of engineers and analysts to build, support, and implement both custom and 3rd party software solutions that enable our stores to best serve our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers to build and support both custom and 3rd party solutions. Responsible for hiring, training, salary administration, and performance management for team. Collaborate with team members on career development and goal setting.
- Identify and implement the appropriate technical solutions to fulfill requirements and partners with Product Management and business partners to recognize new technical needs throughout the organization.
- Collaborates with the Enterprise and Solution Architects to ensure that proposed technical solutions meet the requested business needs and perform effectively and efficiently within the Casey’s technical architecture.
- Works with team to identify and act on refactoring and upgrade opportunities that keep solutions running optimally.
- Defines timelines for team goals as they align to overall organizational objectives. Ensures work being done by team is jointly and regularly prioritized between the team, Program Management and their respective business partners.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work related experience).
- Minimum of 3 years experience leading a software engineering team.
- Experience managing custom & 3rd party solutions.
- .NET background and experience highly preferred.
- Experience integrating 3rd party customer solutions through APIs and cloud services.
- Understanding of web development, React highly preferred.
- Experience in Android native mobile development, or cross platform mobile.
- Experience with desktop-based .NET apps.
