Cartrefi Cymru Hiring for HR Partner at Cardiff Full Time

We currently have an opportunity for a Human Resources Partner to join our busy team, based in Cardiff. Our Human Resources section provides complete HR support to all of our services throughout Wales and your primary role will be to provide generalist HR support to one of the regions.

You will work closely with an Operational Director to provide effective HR support to a region within Wales, managing complex HR casework, providing employment law advice and guidance, supporting and coaching line managers to deal with absence, performance, capability and disciplinary issues in their area. You will have demonstrable experience of working at an appropriate level within an HR/Personnel department and have achieved your CIPD level 5 qualification.

You must have effective communication and negotiating skills, be well organised and a confident HR professional, capable of engaging with people at all levels and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. In addition, you will have strong IT skills and the ability to work with a range of complex IT packages. Although travel is currently restricted due to COVID-19, you will normally be required to attend offices within the region(s) therefore, the use of a car and adequate business insurance is an essential requirement. The ability to communicate in Welsh would be desirable.
