Our Tyresales team are looking for a Software Developer to join them on a permanent basis. Whilst you will be a part of the wider carsales family our Tyresales team runs lean so you will be able to think on your feet and make decisions quickly. This also means you have your own freedom on projects that you will get to manage end to end.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the tyresales team, with plenty of exciting work in the pipeline. If you love to come up with innovative solutions and drive change then this is a great opportunity for you.
The remuneration for this role is between $110,000 – $140,000k inc super

What’ll you’ll be doing

• Work effectively in a constantly changing environment with a small, agile team with a real start up feel.
• Maintain and improve the overall quality of the code base.
• Be responsible for projects from design through to testing and completion.
• Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa.
• Develop and learn as a developer to improve your own technical capabilities

What we are looking for

• Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes that connect you to our behaviours (we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously).
• You have hands on experience with C#, .NET core – if you have hands on experience AWS experience this is a bonus!
• You have worked on web technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, Javascript and angularjs/react.
• You have built applications with SOLID and micro services principles.
• You have extensive knowledge and experience on SQL, data storage, query optimization in SQL Server, Oracle or Postgres.
• You’re a natural problem solver who believes in simple solutions (not easy solutions) and can accept consensus even when it’s not your own solution
• Collaboration is key you will work on projects with many different tribes and won’t be afraid to ask for help
