Engineers within carsales generally work within one of our three major tribes; Dealer, consumer or Global Platform Services.

These tribes work in a cross functional, dynamic and inclusive way to deliver our products to the market.

The remuneration for this role is between $115,000 to $125,000 inclusive of superannuation

What’ll you’ll do

• Understand and share expertise in engineering solutions to complex integration problems. Be deeply involved from product discovery to production.
• Develop and support the delivery of clean and concise solutions that are scalable across all our teams.
• Demonstrate understanding, motivations and expertise in managing a backlog of features, bugs and technical debt and effectively manage priorities. Help support the diagnosis of production issues when they happen.

What we are looking for?

• Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes that connect you to our behaviours (we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously)
• Understand and share expertise in architecting and building robust and scalable solutions across multiple tech-stacks.
• Develop and professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Demonstrate understanding, motivations and expertise in C#, .NET Core and have strong commercial knowledge of AWS, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript and Angular/ReactJS. You have built applications with SOLID and micro services principles.
