Position Title: Director of Finance and Accounting
Reports To: CFO
Location: Richardson, TX
Compensation: Starting at $160,000 Base + Bonus

About Us: “Cars and Credit Master” is a fast-growing pre-owned car dealership group servicing automotive buyers with its affiliated Related Finance Company (RFC) in the subprime lending matrix.
The company continues to look for talented and dedicated team members to help achieve our goal of becoming a major regional and national player in the pre-owned auto sales and financing space.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Direct all finance related operations (financial reporting, FP&A, treasury, accounting, tax, compliance, audit, lender collateral)
• Build out data-based FP&A capabilities to support company decisions related to pricing, deal structures, cash flow, profit, default risk, growth targets, etc.
• Develop and implement required regulatory compliance programs and an internal audit framework
• Design, build and produce standardized forecasts, covenant packages and other analysis required by the executive team and lenders
• Develop and lead a formal company planning and budgeting process
• Recruit, train, and mentor new talent for the finance organization
• Continue to develop a positive performance-based culture in the finance organization (SOPs, metrics, scorecards, process improvements, technology improvements)
• Develop and nurture positive internal and external business relationships that build department and company capabilities and culture
• Identify and sponsor solutions that improve cash flow, control expenses, and increase profit
• Identify and address potential financial risks for the company

REQUIRED:

• Finance Leadership Experience: 5 Years
• Management Experience: 5 Years
• Strong Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA

DESIRED:

• CPA (Texas)
• Public Accounting Experience: 5 Years
• Subprime Automotive Finance & Lending Experience: 5 Years
• Microsoft Dynamics
