Carrot Global Hiring for Online English Tutor [Work From Home] Job at Remote Full Time

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Carrot Global is now hiring full-time and part-time tutors to work remotely from home! Teach English to adults and children living in South Korea, via Zoom and VoIP software.

POSITION INFORMATION:

-Teaching time per student: 10, 15, 20, and 30 minute classes

– Pay is $13 – $15 USD per hour or $2.17 – $ 2.50 USD for every 10 min class taught

-Teachers can work in the morning and/or evening

-Choose your own schedule within the following peak operation hours:

[Spring/Summer hours]

6:00 am – 11:00 am (Mon-Fri) and 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm (Sun-Thu) EDT Eastern Daylight Time

[Winter/Fall hours]

5:00 am – 10:00 am (Mon-Fri) and 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm (Sun-Thu) EST Eastern Standard Time

*Note: The peak hours change based on Daylight Savings Time

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

–Tutors must choose*at least 20 hours* per week minimum availability during our peak demand times listed above

-Full time tutors who can work 5 days per week are preferred

-American or Canadian born English speaker (neutral British accent also accepted)

-Residing in USA or Canada

-University/College Degree

-Quiet area to work

-Computer with at least 2 GB of RAM

-Hard wired high-speed internet service (NOT wireless)

-Internet speed of at least 20mbs

-Stable internet and power (without ISP or power outages)

-Access to the following software: Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe PDF viewer and Skype

-High level of proficiency with computers and internet

-Virtual classroom or webinar experience required

-Headset with a microphone

-External webcam

-ESL/EFL Teaching experience required (online experience preferred)
