Carrington West Looking for Structural Engineer at Derby Full Time

Due to increasing workload, an opportunity for a Structural Engineer has arisen to work on a variety of challenging and interesting projects for with a successful consultancy based in their Derby office.

Role & Responsibilities
 
The right candidate will have experience in a wide range of structural materials including steel, concrete and masonry. Interested in detailed complex engineering and willing to learn new skills and techniques.
 
 
·Ability to provide technical delivery, with support, of a wide range of projects, including existing structures and new developments.
·Complete calculations, site visits and drawings accurately and diligently under the supervision of a senior engineer.
·Able to work within a range of building sectors
·Interest in historic and conservation engineering would be beneficial.
 

Requirements
 
·HND, HNC, BEng, BSc, MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ICE approved institution.
·Working towards ICE/IStructE
·Knowledge of TEDDS/Tekla/CAD/Revit knowledge
·Flexible approach to work and able to work as part of a team.
·Good presentation, communication, interpersonal and team working skills.
