Carrington West Looking for Senior Highway Design Engineer – HS2 at West Midlands Full Time

I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Highway Design Engineer for a multinational consultancy, working on HS2.   This is an exciting role working on one of the largest infrastructure schemes in the UK. This role will be predominantly remote working, with some ad-hoc travel required to the office. This is a full-time position which falls inside IR35.
 
Key experience required:
 
·Good working knowledge of Highways Design and DMRB/National Highways standard
·Ideally BEng/MEng (Hons) Degree in Civil Engineering
·Proficient with Civil 3D and AutoCAD
·Ideally Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer (or working towards), MICE or equivalent
·Good knowledge of BIM procedures
·Experienced in project delivery including reports, drawings and specifications
 
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
 
·Design activities for highways, including alignment design, junctions and foot/cycleway design
·Help deliver major highways projects on time and within budget,
·Apply and promote policies relating to health and safety (including CDM Regulations), quality, and training
