Carrington West Looking for Project Manager – Highways site at Hampshire Full Time

What we need:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to work on a long-term contract basis in Hampshire, assisting with the delivery of a of high-profile highways scheme in the region.
Working as part of a large and experienced team, previous experience in Highways site work is essential.
This role has been found to be outside the scope of IR35, so candidates will be able to use a Public Limited Company.
 
What your job will be:
·Stakeholder engagement, including working closely with designers, members of the public and other statutory authorities.
·Implementation of a highways project
·Scheme project management including the production of project plans, and management associated issues, and risks
·Ensuring delivery teams have the correct capabilities and resources to deliver the project.
·Working closely with procurement and finance teams to manage project budgets and costs
·Liaison with public and necessary stakeholders throughout the project
·Produce briefs for tenders
·Produce high quality committee reports
 
What you will need to succeed:
 
·Previous experience of working on Highways site related projects is ESSENTIAL
·Recognised qualification in Civil Engineering
·Prince 2 accredited would be desirable
·Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
