Carrington West Looking for Highways Site Supervisor at Somerset Full Time

What we need:
Our client are an expanding highways contractor that are continually being rewarded work across the South West. Carrington West are pleased to be assisting them in finding a Highways Site Supervisor to work on various Highway sites in the Somerset area.

What you will do:
As a Site Supervisor, your duties and responsibilities will include:
·Ensuring all work on site is carried out in a safe and compliant manner, meeting legal requirements and all health safety guidelines
·To manage site activities ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
·Lead on actions to solve technical difficulties, improve performance in terms of progress and quality.
·Establish and regularly review the detailed working programme.
·Ensure coordination of all related trades.
·Deliver end product to customer satisfaction.
·Manage project risk in line with company procedures.

What you will need to succeed:
To be the successful candidate you must possess previous experience as a Site Foreman or Manager on a highways site.
An industry relevant qualification e.g. a Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or Construction Project Management etc is not required but highly desirable.
SSSTS (as a minimum) and CSCS will be essential to get on site.
