The role

Based in Dingley and reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing the credit risk of the organisation including maintenance of customer credit limits, cash collections and supporting business decisions regarding provision of credit facilities

This will involve:

• Ensuring accuracy of monthly aged trial balance for accounts receivable and aged debtor reporting

• Managing allocation of cash receipts against customer account in a timely manner.

• Ensure timely collection of customer accounts including attending to problem accounts and/or overdue amounts.

• Responsible for liaising with key stakeholders to ensure changes made to customer details to ensure database is accurate

• Processing and researching account applications, recommending appropriate credit limits.

• Daily bank reconciliations

• Responsible for creating AR related journals

• Managing/administering the expense system (SAP Concur preferred)

• Administrator of treasury platform

To be successful

As an experienced Accounts Receivable officer, you will have a demonstrated history of managing key relationships with customers providing clarity around expectations of monies owed.

You will need the following:

• Good knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements

• Good knowledge of general accounting procedures

• Good knowledge and exposure to AR software and Microsoft Excel

• A highly developed ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner using appropriate language both verbally and in writing

• An ability to work independently and within a team environment with a positive attitude to performing additional ad hoc duties as requested
