Counter/Shipper

CE is a subsidiary of the largest independent HVAC/R distribution company in the world, Watsco, Inc. CE proudly distributes the Carrier, Bryant and Payne brands of HVAC equipment for the use in Commercial and Residential markets, as well as a full-line of aftermarket parts, supplies, and accessories. CE has 36 locations across Canada. We are currently accepting internal and external applications for a Counter/Shipper in our Ottawa Lola Sales Centre.

Reporting to: Sales Center Manager

Location: Otttawa, ON

The Opportunity

· Ensure that equipment is stored and protected from damage and readily available for shipment

· Handle all shipping and receiving duties, including physical distribution to customers, storage of products within the warehouse and receiving incoming materials and equipment

· Prepare documentation of both incoming and outgoing equipment and parts

· Maintain the warehouse facility in a safe and clean manner

· Provide sales assistance as required and backup sales coverage during absence of team members

· Provide top quality service to our customers

· Handle customer calls and inquiries

· Maintenance of the showroom, including stocking shelves, merchandise and inventory maintenance

What You Offer

· 1-3 years’ experience in the HVACR industry and warehouse logistics

· Previous experience in technical/sales roles

· Certified forklift operator

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Positive attitude and customer service oriented

· Computer literate

· Strong organization skills and the ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment

· Proficiency in e-commerce solutions and environment

· Preference will be given to those who have previous HVACR wholesale experience and/or who have graduated from a HVAC/R technical program
