We’re looking for a passionate HR Advisor with Employee Relations knowledge to join our team and be part of our great culture here at CUK. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and diverse business, supporting stakeholders both ashore and those in roles on-board our ships.
This position is a 12 month Fixed term contract.
As an HR Advisor within the Employee Relations team, you’ll be responsible for managing a broad role, encompassing casework such as conduct disciplinary, grievances, ill health capability and performance management; coaching and supporting Managers across the business to resolve queries concerning our colleagues, with autonomy to manage your own caseload and the ability to work effectively in supporting your team mates. You’ll take a lead for managing ill health cases in the Fleet and provide feedback on the process to stakeholders, suggesting change where appropriate.
You’ll have some data knowledge and be able to support our Senior Advisor with regular and adhoc reports to illustrate case trends to inform ER strategy. Working closely with the Senior Employee Relations Manager, you’ll also be responsible for managing relationships with our Trade Union and Employee Representatives, providing admin support for all things ‘Industrial Relations’.
