Carmichael UK Looking for Quantity Surveyors – Heavy Civils at Somerset Full Time
We are currently recruiting for a Tier 1 Contractor that is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team working on Hinkley Point C. The ideal candidate must have experience working for a civil engineering contractor on a tier 1 project.
Experience in structures or heavy civils would be advantageous, also experience in leading and managing a commercial team would be preferred.

- Cost Forecasting
- Measure and Value
- Change Management and Claims
- Subcontract Procurement
- Client and Supply Chain Relationships
Requirements:
- Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management (or similar, HNC will be considered)
- Proven track record as Quantity Surveyor in a heavy civils focussed project
- Familiar with NEC forms of contracts
A range of roles available.
All roles contracting, with a view to go permanent.
PAYE rates – rate depends on seniority level
