Carmichael UK Looking for Assistant Design Manager – at London Full Time

CarmichaelUk are working with a top tier JV on a major rail infrastructure project in Central London who are looking for an Assistant Design manager.

Experience in tunneling and geotechnical groundworks is highly desirable. 

Key responsibilities may include managing and liaison with respect to:

• Design review, informal and formal;
• Design technical assurance;
• Change control;
• Construction interface;
• Data gathering and reporting;
• Management of design programme;
• Commercial communication management;
• Liaison with procurement teams;
• CDM risk review and compliance;
• RFI management;
• Departures management;
• Assumptions and project risk management;
• Technical interfaces and consents;
• CAT3 checking management;
• Rebar detailing;
• Coordinating interface between permanent and temporary works design;
• Managing and integrating supply chain design and detailing.

Requirements

• HNC or higher in a Civil Engineer related field
• Main contractor experience
• Civils infrastructure background (preferred)
• CSCS card
