Carlile Hiring for Logistics Coordinator at Prudhoe Bay, AK Full Time

Essential Duties

• Operate safely and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and procedures
• Coordinate freight shipments, entering, maintaining and updating TruckMate on a regular basis.
• Receiving and manifesting freight for flights or truckloads depending on season
• Field incoming calls and emails, responding appropriately and timely to customer inquiries
• Coordinate drivers and loader operators as needed to complete daily activities
• Must be able to understand a variety of diagrams from customer and deal with abstract and variables

in freight shipping requirements

• Work closely with operations to facilitate requests
• May review month end s for accuracy prior to billing process
• Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• An associate’s degree in business administration, or a related discipline is preferred
• Three to four years of previous industry-related experience is required; must have knowledge of

software management system; TruckMate preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must be proficient in MS Office suite of applications including Word, Outlook and Excel
• Proven ability to multi-task and work under pressure while meeting deadlines
• Demonstrated attention to detail and work in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
• Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, be a problem solver and goal oriented, and

also work in a team environment

• Must be able to prioritize daily task and assignments
• Must be able to adapt to change in a positive and constructive manner
• Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be able to work well with internal departments, vendors, and customers
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and practical

situations

• An enthusiastic and positive work attitude with strong interpersonal skills
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Ability to exhibit a professional attitude and appearance
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Forklift experience preferred

Working Environment

This job operates in a office environment at a remote location. This role routinely uses standard office
equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and other office related devices. This role may
also utilize a dolly and forklift. The job is performed under temperature variations and may work in a
hazardous environment.
