Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for providing full cycle recruitment for all positions within the organization. Hands on support to all human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, job postings. The role will also utilize applicant-tracking systems and support all managers with hiring needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full-cycle recruitment and selection of candidates for open positions; including posting on a variety of resources, screening, scheduling interviews, extending offers and the onboarding process.
• Obtain approval from HR Director prior to posting open positions.
• Prepare job posts and place all advertisements and maintain resources for temporary personnel needs.
• Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
• Utilize the company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for all recruitment and hiring activities.
• Work with temp agencies to secure temporary employees as requested by Department Director.
• Receive, review and process all employment applications and resumes.
• Ensure that all candidates meet the requirements of the position.
• Perform professional phone screens that qualify and inform candidates of expectations while satisfying legal and compliance obligations.
• Handle all correspondence with applicants and maintain all applications on file for future openings.
• Pre-screen applicants and if appropriate, forward to Hiring Manager(s) for consideration.
• Handle all aspects of the interview process. Schedule all interviews with hiring manager(s).
• Conduct regular follow-up with manager(s) to determine status of candidate(s) and to ensure all appropriate processes are followed through our ATS.
• Conduct necessary background check(s) on all incoming new hires to include scheduling of pre-employment clinic clearance, CORI and any other compliance required steps.
• Extend job offers to candidates to include offer letters (salaried candidates) and coordinate, clinical, background clearance and start date.
• Answer any preliminary questions regarding benefits and any other concerns presented by candidate/new hire.
• Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations as well as any applicable agreements in force.
• Maintain applicant tracking records and files and certifications.
• Process all paperwork and maintain log of materials required for new employees.
• Coordinate and conduct all aspects of New Employee Orientation.
• Responsible for ensuring confidentiality of employee records.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws pertaining to recruitment and hiring.
• Maintain and regularly audit all I-9 paperwork as well as required position licensure.
• Coordinate and represent the organization at all job fairs.
• Assist in planning annual employee awards banquet and other employee events as needed.
• Maintain staff bulletin boards current, including current open positions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or appropriate training and/or experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years full-cycle Recruitment experience.
• H.R.I.S. experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Proven experience with an Applicant Tracking System.
• Knowledge of and ability to stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.
• Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations related to recruiting and hiring.
• Extensive knowledge of a wide variety of sourcing avenues.
• Unquestionable ethics, integrity, intellectual honesty, and sound judgment.
• Ability to collaborate as part of team and work independently as required.
