the Center and its students in accordance with Department of Labor (DOL), Policy Requirement Handbook(PRH), Insights Training Group, LLC, and Center requirements.

Duties:

• Organizes, promotes, and monitors the Home WBL program for grad-90 students in conjunction with the assigned center Career Transition readiness and post-center Career Transition Services staff.
• Establishes and directs WBL sites and employer outreach initiatives.
• Promotes collaboration with Job Corps agencies to effectively develop and manage the six-week Home

WBL experience.

• Develops and maintains an active database of employers and Work-Based Learning Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to meet the programmatic training and transitional caseload needs for Grad-90 students.
• In conjunction with CTS Specialists, conducts student employability rating evaluations, WBL site safety inspections, site visits and secures employer evaluations. Also assists in transportation and related services.
• Provides support for enhancing student employability and ensures each student’s continued participation in the Job Corps transition and post-center placement processes.
• Becomes active in the employment community (employers, labor unions, apprenticeship programs, military recruiters, advanced training programs, community colleges, etc.) to further the Center’s WBL and placement goals.
• In conjunction with center and CTS staff, establishes, coordinates, documents and manages the Industry Advisory Council, local and distant employers and appropriate Chambers of Commerce, to establish and maintain job development, placement and Work Based Learning linkages.
• Follows all integrity and procedures and ensures no manipulation of student data.
• Completes case notes and other necessary entries into CIS/PCDPs.
• Mentors, monitors and models the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH. (Workplace Relationships and Ethics; Communications; Personal Growth and Development; Interpersonal Skills; Information Management; Multicultural Awareness; Career and Personal Planning; and Independent Living).
• Adheres to required property control policies and procedure.
• Works towards meeting performance standards and goals.
• Maintains good housekeeping in all areas and complies with safety practices.
• Complies with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulations, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures.
• Models appropriate employability skills for dress, language and work habits.
• Continuously helps students become more employable.
• Participates in PRH mandated staff training.
• Performs other duties as assigned within the individual’s scope and capabilities.

. Requirements:
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in sales, marketing, employer development or placement related services preferred. Previous experience working with disadvantaged youth preferred.

Qualifications: Bachelors or Associates Degree in Public Relations, Marketing or related area preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid State Driver’s License, and current automobile liability insurance coverage and meet the company’s insurability requirements.
