Caritas Recruitment Hiring for Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker at Norfolk, VA Full Time

Caritas are recruiting for Care Support Workers to join their client, a large care provider delivering dedicated and individually driven care services across a range of locations throughout Norfolk, with available shift patterns both day and night.

As a Care Support Worker, you will assist with personal care and support tasks which enables residents to make informed choices, supporting their independence and dignity in line with their care plan.

You will build strong relationships with the residents/tenants participating and supporting with wellbeing events and activities, helping to promote a safe and fun environment for those living with us.

Responding to call bells and emergencies in a timely manner, providing person-centred care & support and communicating with other medical professionals as required.

We Are Looking For Individuals Who Are

• Supportive and caring, always ensuring you are providing exemplary service to our residents & tenants
• Able to work effectively as both an individual as well as part of a team
• Willing to go that extra mile

You Will Need

• Experience of working in the Health Care Sector
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care
• Current DBS (update service or we can apply)
• Immunisation s
