Job Purpose and Impact

In this role you will be an active partner in the development and execution of our business strategy, you will set clear financially focused targets for the business, provide forward-looking financial leadership and focus on value creation by providing insights to drive decisions and results. You will be a key partner of the Cargill Protein Europe Managing Director and a member of the Europe leadership team. You will operate across countries, with responsibility for our Cargill Protein businesses in the UK, France, Netherlands and Poland. The job doesn’t consist of data collection processes, producing budgets, reports or forecasts. This is where an effective relationship with the Accounting and Finance and Planning and Reporting teams is necessary. As Strategic Finance and Transformation Lead you will also manage the strategic portfolio of projects and programs, you will provide leadership in planning and executing key P&L driver projects. Key Accountabilities

Provide proactive, financial leadership and insights to the business to drive value within Cargill Protein business in Europe (set financial stretch targets for short and long term plans), translating insights into business performance against competitor and industry trends to help leadership focus on the most critical risks and opportunities.

Partner with finance and business/functional stakeholders to play an active role in identifying risks and opportunities, delivering clear presentations including defending positions on controversial topics, adapting style to continuously seek win-win solutions and enhancing connectivity and communication.

Evaluate and guide investment portfolio strategy including M&A gameboarding and cultivation; Oversee and support the development of business cases to ensure consistency and validate assumptions.

Employ advanced modeling skills that bring new perspectives to the business. Establish performance metrics to drive strategy execution and partner with commercial leaders to shape, drive, and measure the execution of pricing strategies and market prioritization.

Develop plans, demonstrate an application of broad/diverse commercial knowledge with understanding of how all areas come together and operate as a business and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Manage a strategic portfolio representing Cargill Protein business in Europe which include Identifying opportunities to reduce or better manage working capital, COGS and SG&A expenses and advising business on execution strategy (in support of business partners across plant, enterprises and regions). Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree a related field or equivalent experience.

Confirmed ability to develop and execute long term strategic plans.

Strong business acumen, problem solving and analytical skills.

Excellent influencing and persuasive skills.

Experienced in motivating teams for high performance.

Minimum of six years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in in Economics, Finance or Business is preferred.

Confirmed experience in supporting Senior Stakeholders and the business in key investment decisions.

Experience with design, development and implementation of value-added business analytics.
