Job Summary

The Recruiter will be in charge of managing the inbound and outbound recruiting needs for the company. They will screen, interview, and hire caregivers and nurses for our Snohomish, King, and Pierce clients. They will work closely with each regional team partner to understand the staffing needs and hire candidates to fill that need.

The Recruiter will also be able to make connections in the community by establishing an outbound recruitment program. They will find creative recruitment solutions through local schools, job fairs, and other avenues to bring in candidates.

This role will be the main point for social media and job board postings and should be comfortable using a variety of platforms to recruit. They are encouraged to be creative with their approach to hiring and work with leadership to find new avenues for recruitment and community outreach.

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Learns and models our corporate mission and values to every activity associated with the performance of this position;
• Manages multiple hiring requisitions across different ATS platforms. Provides recommendations on how the company can reach a larger audience of applicants;
• Completes recruitment cycle for caregiver hiring: sourcing, selecting, interviewing, hiring, and scheduling for onboarding. Verify professional credentials are up to date with the state. Complete 2 references for each hire. Ensures new hires complete pre-hire paperwork and are ready for orientation;
• Hires 30 caregivers a month with a 90% placement. Works with leadership to set challenging goals for the department that will grow the company;
• Partners with regional teams to understand client needs and uses this information to recruit caregivers that will be a good fit. Regular and ongoing communication with regional teams will be necessary for success;
• Solicits feedback about hires to better direct future recruiting methods;
• Tracks hiring metrics and provides weekly reporting on progress;
• Enter applicant information, hiring requisitions, and employee information into Computer Data Systems and Personnel Files to ensure that all information systems are kept current and contain accurate information;
• Manages the employee referral program including tracking referrals, ensuring timely payout of bonuses, and communicating regular reminders to staff about the program;
• Seeks opportunities for community outreach and represents the company at job fairs and other functions on a regular and ongoing basis;
• In addition to the above, will assume any other responsibilities or duties appropriate to the position not specifically listed in this job description as assigned by supervisor.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge and proficiency in use of computer software including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and appropriately use specialized software to accomplish the business and service goals of Careforce;
• Knowledge of acceptable standards of performance, including the necessity to work productively, report punctually, maintain flexibility, and to demonstrate excellent customer service to Careforce clients, Careforce employees and potential candidates;
• Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing, in a way that is understood by clients/candidate’s family members and others related to the care team;
• Ability to travel to offsite for functions such as job fairs and other recruiting events;
• Ability to work successfully, respectfully, and productively with candidates and clients from a wide diversity of cultures, language skills, ethnicity, or religion; committed to the celebration of diversity and the elimination of all forms of discrimination in the workplace;
• Ability to adhere to all agency policies and procedures as well as regulatory and legal requirements applicable to the position.

Required Training and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience or knowledge of health care recruiting is preferred

Schedule

Available to work 8am-5pm Monday-Friday and flexibility for nights and weekends as business needs dictate.

This position will be located out of our Lynnwood office for the duration of the training and probationary period. After the probationary period has been successfully completed, remote working may be an option.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 per year
