Software Engineer (Xamarin) – Fully remote with a few visits per year to London or Newcastle office

We are working with one of our dedicated clients who are looking for a Software Engineer to join their team!

Key skills:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Native development environment.
Proficiency with the C# tech stack including Xamarin.
Experience working with RESTful APIs.
Experience with multi-threaded programming.
Experience building adaptive UIs for Mobile Devices.
Understanding of core computer science principles and concepts i.e. MVC, OOP, memory management.
TDD is an advantage but don’t worry they can train you if you haven’t practiced it before.

Main responsibilities:

Following the best dev practices:

They build their own Swift frameworks for reusable code across their apps.
They practice TDD so they know when their code breaks.
They follow the SOLID principles and are always trying to leave the code cleaner than they found it.
They have a great CI setup with Jenkins and Fastlane validating their commits with their cluster of macOS hosts.
Continuous delivery with Fastlane, merging to a release branch automatically triggers the process to ship their builds to store
