The role & you

This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of Council’s revenue responsibilities, ensuring that revenue generation is maximised through effective and efficient processes.

It is also responsible for ensuring that revenue is recognised in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards to facilitate the preparation of Council’s annual Financial Statements.

As a experienced leader, you’ll develop a high performing team by setting clear expectations, performance standards and goals.

We need your in-depth knowledge of the professional and legislative requirements applicable to the NSW Local Government Finance environment, ensuring all revenue received or due to Council is recorded and recognised in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards.

The package: Commencing salary package circa $95,000 p.a. plus superannuation.

Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Tenure: Permanent, Full Time.
