Our Administration Centre has relocated to a brand-new state of the art facility designed to inspire innovation, creativity and collaboration. The building has been named ‘Yalawanyi Ganya’ which means “sitting/meeting place” in the Gathang language of the indigenous people across the MidCoast Region.
The role & you
This position is responsible for the administrative and financial tasks associated with all facets in the Accounts Payable module of Council’s finance system. You will support and contribute to the achievement of organisational outcomes whilst ensuring that customer service is delivered to a high standard.
This opportunity is well suited to someone with relevant experience in all elements of financial transactions, including reconciliations and the preparation of financial reports. Specific experience in the area of Accounts Payable is desirable, however not essential. You should have demonstrated experience in large volume data entry accompanied by precise attention to detail.
If you currently hold a TAFE Certificate IV in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent we would love to hear from you!
The package: Commencing salary package circa $58,000 p.a. plus superannuation.
Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
Tenure: Permanent, Full Time.
