A leading global law firm is looking to recruit a HR Business Advisor who will support the achievement of business and people objectives within the firm based in any of their regional offices: Leeds, Sheffield or Manchester on a 12 month FTC basis.
The HR Business Advisor will be assisting line managers and employees through professional, commercial and pragmatic HR advice and support.
The key duties will include but are not limited to:
Provide the primary source of line manager advice and guidance on HR related policies and practices
Provide coaching to line managers to encourage effective communication & objective problem resolution
Support HR Business Partners in the delivery of people projects and HR calendar activities
Continuously monitors and reviews HR policies and processes and proposes changes where necessary
Keeps HR Business Partners updated with case work activity within their practice groups/offices, highlighting risks and issues
The HR Business Advisor will have practical working knowledge of HR practices from a previous similar role. The right candidate will have an understanding of HR across all core areas including Recruitment, Reward, Performance Management, Learning & Development and Talent Management. The candidate will have excellent influence and communication skills with an eye for detail and multitasking. Ideally you will have previous experience in professional services, financial services or similar.
