We are looking for an experienced Medical Biller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for submitting claims to insurance companies, verifying insurance coverage, and ensuring that all claims are processed accurately and in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical billing systems (preferably Athena software), understand ICD 10 and CPT terminology, have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and appeals.
• Resolve claims in hold status.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Review medical records for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits.
• Resolve billing disputes with insurance companies and patients.
• Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries.
• Interact with front desk and billing department on daily tasks.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
