The Vice President of Talent Acquisition (VPTA) is under the direct supervision and direction to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Care Advantage. The VPTA leads a geographically dispersed team of recruiting professional who are focused on creating innovative approaches to sourcing and hiring only the best talent. This role will focus on developing, leading and implementing world class acquisition strategies, sourcing, recruiting, data analytics and reporting all in support of our company’s business goals and objectives. The VPTA maintains effective partnerships with leaders across the organization to create and maintain standardizations, cost efficiencies, strategic problem solving and effective ways to become the company of choice in our industry. Defining, owning and evolving the applicant experience is paramount and includes funnel development, candidate communications and process automation.

A Day In The Life of The VP Of Talent Acquisition

• Serve as strategic leader to all Recruitment & Employment Specialists (Field Recruiters) by developing and executing proactive approaches and clear communications around the company’s recruitment plan (short and long term) to meet and exceed current and future needs of the business and that of our clients
• Ensure company core values are promoted, along with developing an environment of collaboration, partnership and high touch customer service
• Develop and deliver a relevant and successful strategic recruitment plan, continuously adjusting to fit the current work environment and applicant market
• Build key relationship within the team, the company and with our community partners
• Collect and analyze competitor intelligence to include pipeline information, pay scales, benefits, etc.
• Partner with MarComm to create innovative and attention-grabbing marketing collateral and roll out effective and successful recruitment campaigns
• Ensure prioritization of day-to-day activities and goals is communicated and understood
• Analyze and communicate recruitment trends, metrics/KPIs; use results and insights to drive future recruitment activity, improve compliance and reduce turnover
• Manage and hold staff accountable for assigned talent acquisition duties, ensuring appropriate utilization of workloads across the team
• Speak with other HR professionals regularly to gather ideas into new policies and hiring processes
• Other duties as assigned by your leader

Skills/Knowledge:

• Minimum of 7 years of related experience working directly in Talent Acquisition
• BA Degree; MBA or MA preferred
• 5+ years leading teams of recruitment specialists
• Experience building and managing an efficient and large-scale recruitment team widely dispersed in a multi-site organizational structure
• Experience and proficiency with Applicant Tracking Software (ATS) and other databases; expert level understanding of how ATS work and how to get the most out of their features
• Experience building recruitment plans from the ground up and adjusting as the industry, market and community requires
• Experience with candidate selection methods and sourcing platforms.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, improving processes and handling daily roadblocks
• Team management and leadership
• Data analysis: collecting and analyzing recruitment data in ATS to identify problems and opportunities for improvement
• Strategy formulation: be able to take in information and formulate a strategy to reach goals

This position will be based out of our corporate office in Richmond, VA and will require regional travel as needed.
