We are looking for an energetic Talent Acquisition professional to join our Asia Pacific Human Resources team. We are flexible for this role to be based out of our St Leonards office in Sydney, or our Wollongong office. Your Role

The TA team at Cardno are seeking another like-minded individual who is driven by the challenge of finding talent in an extremely competitive market. Working within a collaborative TA team you will also be provided with autonomy to develop innovative talent acquisition strategies with the leaders in your operating centre.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include –

• Championing the Cardno brand and ensuring a positive employee experience.
• Managing end to end recruitment for technical roles within design engineering, environmental and corporate disciplines across NSW, ACT and New Zealand.
• Partnering with leaders and hiring managers to understand their business and determine targeted recruitment and attraction strategies.
• Utilising proactive sourcing techniques and social media to identify and grow talent pools.
• Effectively managing external third-party suppliers to ensure appropriate engagement.
• Working collaboratively with the wider Talent Acquisition and HR teams and contributing to key APAC HR projects.
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities that can improve the Talent Acquisition function.

About you

To be successful you will need –

• Experience within a similar recruitment / TA role (internal or external experience).
• Experience recruiting technical engineering and environmental professionals.
• Proactive sourcing skills to fill difficult to fill roles.
• Great interpersonal and influencing skills
• Flexibility and a bit of resilience to rise to the challenge with changing demands and priorities.
• The ability to work in an autonomous fashion and prioritise.
• A sense of humour coupled with a positive attitude to ensure HR best practice is promoted.
