Job description

The opportunity:
An exciting opportunity and new role as Athlete Lifestyle & Education Manager has arisen. You will be joining at an exciting time as we expand our Strength & Conditioning Team, create a new Physiotherapy Team among other developments to enhance our commitment to performance sport and build a multi-discipline approach.
The Athlete Lifestyle & Education Manger will be part of the Sport Systems Team. The role will lead the development of athlete education services such as performance lifestyle support, anti-doping and dual career management. The role will work closely with performance staff including Performance Directors, Coaches and Practitioners to identify the needs of student-athletes and create solutions to meet these needs, providing the best possible student-athlete experience. In addition, the role will be responsible for the university’s TASS Accreditation and Dual Career Policy. The candidate will have the opportunity to manage the services and deliver directly to student-athletes and staff.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone with a passion for student-athletes and the opportunities and development university sport can provide. You will have experience of managing and delivering athlete lifestyle and education support. Working with a range of staff and stakeholders, you will be experienced and skilled at building relationships that will enable you to build a programme of support that impacts positively on well-being, personal development, academic & sporting performance and contributes to the whole sport system.
