Full Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Monday ? Friday Position with core hours of 7:30am ? 4:30pm (may vary on a as needed basis).

This entry level role is primarily responsible for processing all incoming calls by addressing the situation and either routing the call to the appropriate department/person, paging overhead, or taking messages if necessary. This position plays a vital role in expediting communications between contracted facilities and in supporting the Provider’s day-to-day hospital and office clinics.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Provide effective communication and strong listening skills
  • Ability and willingness to deescalate/handle difficult calls
  • Answer multiple calls in a courteous and timely manner
  • Route or page calls to the appropriate extensions and/or departments
  • Retrieves voicemail messages and creates phone notes, as necessary.
  • Performs various daily and routine administrative tasks
  • Performs other duties as assigned and requested within scope of work.
