About the role

A full time Accounts Payable Specialist role is created in preparing the company next high growth phase, report directly to the Finance and HR manager, the key responsibilities are:

• Timely processing & payment of vendor invoices
• Work closely with procurement specialist on orders and payments tracking
• Maintenance of Supplier master data
• Maintenance of payment records and filing systems
• Monitor and handle the AP inbox and queries
• Preparation, allocation of costs to correct G/L accounts
• Reconciliation of supplier accounts
• Assist Finance Manager with AP month end close
• Assist with ERP system implementation
• Ensure the integrity and compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Ad hoc tasks as requested.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable role
• Good understanding of Basic Accounting and accounts payables principles
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Accurate data entry skills and high level of accuracy & attention to detail
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Exposure to system implementation/changes would be highly regarded, but not necessary
• Relevant experience in engineering and complex systems manufacturing is not required but preferred.
