Carbon 60 Looking for Engineering Manager – FM at Salisbury, Wiltshire Full Time

We are looking to recruit an Engineering Manager to join a National Facilities Management Company working at a high security Government facility in Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Expert to join a prestigious organisation with excellent career prospects and security.

Location: Salisbury

Salary: £65,000 + Car Allowance (£5,000) + benefits

The Role:

• To advice and guide the Account Director on all technical Matters
• To provide leadership and assurance to support the delivery of a fully compliant and optimised asset management and maintenance programme

• Demonstrate compliance levels against statutory, legal, and contractual obligations through a robust assurance/audit programme.
• To deliver engineer operational excellence through process improvements and innovation to satisfy Customer need and deliver profitable sustainable results.
• Lead on Physical Infrastructure Compliance (PIC) Programme.
• Technical recruitment lead.
• Technical competency setting/delivery.
• Technical lead for account strategic planning.
• Technical lead for maintenance strategy and delivery including whole life maintenance.
• Provide technical consultancy as required by the Account Director.
• Technical innovation lead.
• Manage the gap analysis and Risk Register for technical risks (including reporting of and transfer to Customer where appropriate)

The Successful Candidate:

• Chartered Engineering status and holding an engineering degree or equivalent qualification and a member of a relevant professional body e.g., IET.
• A proven successful record of accomplishment working at Senior Engineering Operations Level, ideally gained within a regulated, manufacturing, and high security environment.
• Experience of working with quality management systems with a high degree of procedural, technical and HSE compliance.
• A thorough knowledge of outsourced facilities services within the UK, including hard FM service lines and directly delivered complex projects including M&E, building and civils activities
• Working knowledge of SFG-20 Maintenance Standard.
• Must be able to attain SC Security clearance, desirable to hold presently.
• Understanding of Asset Management Strategy and ISO 55000 series best practice.
• Experience in working with CMMS/CAFM systems, maintenance planning, scheduling and mitigation Management.
