Capital Professionals is in search of an experienced and highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to oversee our Fort Worth, TX logistic clients’ operations and to manage a team of logistics professionals, and direct warehouse operations.

The Logistics Operations Manager will be responsible for managing team KPIs and data, implementing process changes or initiatives to align with company goals, and ensuring efficient and effective logistics operations.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in a 3PL or brokerage environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Manage and lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the achievement of team KPIs and company goals.
• Monitor and analyze logistics-related data and KPIs, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions when necessary to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and initiatives to enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and cost- effectiveness.
• Direct and oversee warehouse operations, including managing incoming and outgoing shipments, picking / pulling customer orders, and ensuring proper inventory storage.
• Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to manage and track warehouse operations, inventory levels, and shipment status.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies in all logistics and warehouse activities.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
• Provide regular s and updates to senior management on logistics performance, challenges, and opportunities.
• Utilize strong Excel skills for data analysis, ing, and decision-making purposes.
• Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and project management abilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Required 4-year degree, preferably in logistics, business, supply chain, or engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in a 3PL or brokerage environment, with a proven track record of success in logistics operations management.

DECISIONMAKING RESPONSIBIITIES

• Identify the best course of action to utilize existing resources to meet the needs of customers.
• Decide optimal solution to critical issues and risks.
• Determine the best source of information and format to communicate effectively.
• Lead project teams based on analytics to drive cost efficiency.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

• This position does have supervisory responsibilities of both on-site and remote employees.
