Account Manager: Job tasks include handling customers general and underwriting questions, quoting and rating endorsements on accounts, completing necessary applications for insurance & completing all service requests, doing follow ups to ensure timely receipt of policies or changes to customers, processing renewals & remarkets as needed, issuing certificates of insurance , and overall assisting clients with making general insurance coverage changes to their policies for a busy agency that offers long-term growth potential to team members. Applicants MUST have a high comprehension level and the ability to fully focus and complete such tasks from beginning to end with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer service requests and policy adjustments
• Explaining coverage details and assisting with claim questions
• Handling customers accounts and processing payments
• Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs
• Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
• Working with Account Executives to process changes in coverages or premium
• Working with insurance carriers to process request in a timely manner

Skills

• Proven experience as an Account Manager, or in other customer service role
• Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Enthusiastic and passionate
• P&C Personal Lines Insurance experience
