Gambit, New Orleans multi-platform culture, entertainment and news publication, is seeking an entry level Advertising Coordinator to join our team.

This candidate will be responsible for supporting our multi-media sales representatives and advertising director with all aspects of the print and digital advertising placement process.

Duties will include administrative tasks, while also assisting in the creation of advertising content and creative ad design ideas for small businesses.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Duties include :

• Assists multi-media representatives with ad design, proposals, ad booking, invoicing, data entry and maintaining customer relations.
• Assumes the sales representatives’ duties in their absence.
• Prospects and seeks new business development leads for multi-media representatives.
• Assist in the creation of promotional content for special sections, including gift guides and business features.

Education, Experience, and Knowledge Requirements :

• 1 year experience in customer service / relations.
• Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and basic office equipment.

Skill Requirements :

• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to work with internal and external customers effectively.

Ability Requirements :
